Sixt is rapidly becoming my favorite rental car agency and it’s mainly the people who have swayed my preferences. My wife and I had to extend the rental period on a car we had picked up at Gatwick. Unfortunately, the extension would have gone beyond the service period of the car. The Business Manager, Jon, worked out a deal for us that precluded the necessity to return the car to Gatwick, exchange our current car, return the new car to Gatwick when we leave, upgraded the vehicle, AND saved us money. We couldn’t have asked for better service from Jon. The agents in the office, Peter and Charlie were also great.our rental in the U.K. Peter followed us to the car in the garage, inspected our return, and helped us swap our personal items to the new rental. It’s the attitude and personal attention that makes the difference at Sixt. Based on my experiences at Gatwick and now Southampton, Sixt will most likely be my first choice wherever I go.
